Frequently Asked Questions- Haunter's BBQ Edition
Who is this BBQ for? Haunters. And by haunters we mean haunt owners, yard haunt owners, Halloween prop retailers, scare actors (costumes not permitted, see below,) people who work at haunts, and haunt enthusiasts looking to get into the industry. We also welcome car enthusiasts who like a more macabre aesthetic!
Are costumes allowed? Short answer: no. Due to security concerns we do not permit costumed guests within the event. This includes, but is not limited to masks, hanging garments and full-face makeup. However, vendors may have talent wearing the costumes they are selling as a means of demonstration. All persons and bags are subject to a search upon entry.
Is there a dress code? Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. We suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes as there’s a lot to see.
What if the weather is bad? We have plenty of tents on hand for the outdoor areas. Most of the event is covered by either tenting or permanent structures.

I’m a vegetarian. Is this BBQ for me? Absolutely. We will have vegetarian options available (menu TBA). Unfortunately, we do not serve vegan options as we are limited on grill space. Please note: food may be prepared and cooked on grill space in which meat has previously been cooked.
Can I bring my kids? Yes! However, please remember this event caters to thrill and horror. You are solely responsible for what your children see. You are taking them to an event featuring gore and other frightening imagery. We do not offer discounted children's tickets.

What is Jersey Devil and what is Indian Rock? Indian Rock is a small family business, run and owned by the family. We've been here at our facility since 1988. We have almost 30 acres of property liberally shaded with pine and oak trees. Find rates and more at www.indianrockrvpark.com. From 1988 until 2010, we were the host of the Jersey Devil Haunted Hayride. After several years off, we are finally breaking out scares and dipping our toes back in the blood for Halloween fun once again!
